Dear Citizens.

As part of its commitment to inclusive and participatory governance, the House Committee on Constitution Review (HCCR) is set to hold Zonal and National Public Hearings on the ongoing review of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (As Amended).

The hearings will take place across 12 designated centres in the six geopolitical zones, beginning with the Northern Zones from Friday, July 11 to Sunday, July 13, 2025, followed by the Southern Zones from Friday, July 18 to Sunday, July 20, 2025. The exercise will culminate in a *National Public Hearing in Abuja on Monday, July 21, 2025.

To guide public engagement, the Committee has released a Compendium of 86 Constitution Review Bills, complete with explanatory memoranda and detailed expositions. Citizens are encouraged to download the document at bit.ly/HCCRCompendium and come prepared to share informed perspectives.
