The House of Representatives, at Tuesday’s plenary, passed six significant Bills aimed at expanding access to healthcare services, improving health training institutions, and enhancing agricultural education across the country.

Healthcare and Medical Institutions

1. Federal Medical Centre, Elelele Alimini, Rivers State (Establishmentn) Bill

2. Federal Medical Centre, Ukana, Akwa Ibom State (Establishment) Bill

3. Federal Medical Centre, Ajasse Ipo, Kwara State (Establishment) Bill

Health and Science Education

4. College of Nursing Sciences, Ikot Mboho, Akwa Ibom State (Establishment) Bill

5. Federal College of Science and Health Technology, Askira–Uba, Borno State (Establishment) Bill

Agricultural Education

6. Federal College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, Isoko, Delta State (Establishment) Bill

All six Bills were read for the Third Time and passed by the House.
