Ikole-Ekiti | Sunday, May 3, 2026 – The Office of Rep. Akintunde Rotimi, Jr., Member representing Ikole/Oye Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, announces the next in its series of Health Care Outreach Programmes to improve access to essential medical services for underserved communities across the constituency.

This initiative, part of ongoing collaboration between the Government of Ekiti State and the Ekiti State National Assembly Caucus, reflects Hon. Rotimi’s commitment to the health, dignity, and well-being of his constituents, particularly the vulnerable.

The outreach will hold at three locations:

– Saturday, May 8, 2026 – Ikole-Ekiti Town Hall

– Monday, May 11, 2026 – Oye-Ekiti Town Hall

– Monday, May 11, 2026 – Ilupeju-Ekiti Town Hall

Services to Be Provided

1. General medical consultations

2. Free eyeglasses

3. Deworming for children

4. Antenatal consultations

5. Dental and eye examinations

6. Blood pressure and blood sugar screening

7. Free essential medications

8. Family planning and health education

9. Blood group and genotype testing

10. Minor surgical procedures

Rep. Rotimi noted the outreach is part of efforts to bridge healthcare gaps and promote preventive care, reducing untreated illnesses and improving community health outcomes.

The programme aligns with the Ekiti State Government’s health agenda under His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji. The Governor has also approved referral of complicated cases to state general hospitals for further care.

All constituents, especially the elderly, women, and children, are encouraged to take advantage. Early arrival is advised.

This outreach is a reaffirmation of responsive and compassionate representation.
