Abuja, Nigeria | Friday, November 7, 2025 — The House of Representatives has received with deep shock and strong condemnation the tragic news of an armed ambush on the convoy of Rep. Jafaru Mohammed Ali, Member representing Borgu/Agwara Federal Constituency of Niger State.
The attack occurred along the Lumma–Babanna Road on Tuesday, while the lawmaker was en route to Babanna for a constituency engagement, in keeping with the House’s unwavering commitment to deepen representation and citizen engagement across the country.
