Today’s plenary features a rich agenda reflecting the 10th House’s continuing dedication to responsive lawmaking, institutional strengthening, and effective national oversight.

Highlights of Today’s Legislative Business:

Bills for First Reading:

Four bills will be presented, including:

1. Armed Forces Bill, 2025 – sponsored by Hon. Aminu Balele.

2. National Eye Centre, Ochadamu, Kogi State (Establishment) Bill, 2025 – Senate.

3. National Eye Centre, Jimeta, Adamawa State Bill, 2025 – Senate.

4. Bitumen Development Commission of Nigeria (Establishment) Bill, 2025 – Senate.

Reports for Presentation:

The House Committee on Health Institutions will lay three reports on proposed amendments to the Federal Medical Centres Act, establishing new centres in Ido (Oyo State), Potiskum (Yobe State), and Damasak (Borno State).
