Abuja, FCT | Monday, July 14, 2025 – The House of Representatives has rescheduled its plenary resumption to Tuesday, July 22, 2025, in honour of Former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, who passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

All legislative activities are suspended until the new date, as jointly directed by the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representatives.

This was formally communicated to Honourable Members and Staff by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana, Esq.

Members of the National Assembly are expected to participate fully in national mourning and funeral arrangements for the late statesman.
