Yesterday, I joined family, friends, and loved ones at the funeral service of my beloved uncle, High Chief Israel Olatunde Rotimi, the Obadofin of Idofin Clan, Odo Ayedun. The service was held at the First Baptist Church Cathedral of Praise, Odo Ayedun, Ekiti State.
Chief Israel Olatunde Rotimi was a good man, hardworking and deeply committed to the well-being of our community. As the Obadofin, he was a trusted leader and dependable patriarch who provided unwavering support, including throughout my political campaigns. His dedication to our family and community left a lasting impact on many lives, and he will be deeply missed.
May his soul rest in perfect peace, and may his family and all who loved him find comfort and strength in this time of loss.
