On Tuesday, I delivered goodwill remarks on behalf of the 10th House of Representatives at the Abuja Dialogue on Cybersecurity, organised by the Ngalasi Centre for Cohesion and Development.
In my remarks, I emphasised the critical importance of enhancing intelligence gathering and sharing among our security and intelligence agencies. I also highlighted our Legislative Agenda on Improving National Security, and commitment to addressing emerging threats while safeguarding Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII) comprehensively.
Additionally, I participated in a panel session with notable experts, including Dr. Uche Igwe, the Convener of the Dialogue; Dr. Otivie Igbuzor, Founding Director of Centre LSD; CSP Omaka Udodinma of the NPF-National Cybersecurity Centre; and Mr. Emmanuel Tosin of Cyberdeflex.
The dialogue was both timely and essential, contributing valuable insights and resources to our collective efforts in advancing cybersecurity in Nigeria.
