On Thursday, May 7, 2026, the House of Representatives constituted two Ad Hoc Committees to investigate critical national matters relating to public revenue accountability and regulatory oversight in the telecommunications sector.
The Committees are:
1. Ad Hoc Committee to Investigate Debts owed to the Federal Government by State and Non-State actors, agencies, and parastatals within and outside Nigeria.
– Chaired by Rep. Oluwole Oke (APC, Osun)
2. Ad Hoc Committee to Investigate the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the telecommunications sector.
– Chaired by Rep. Olumide Osoba (APC, Ogun)
