Earlier today, I held an extensive and productive meeting with Dr. Paul Adara Adiwu, a senior bureaucrat in the Office of the Clerk, House of Representatives, alongside my Senior Legislative Aide (Legislative), Kehinde Adesanwo, Esq.
As part of my constitutional responsibility as a Representative, lawmaking remains central to my mandate, demanding rigour, precision, and sustained engagement with diverse stakeholders.
Our session focused on reviewing my legislative work plan and using the National Assembly’s bill tracking system to monitor the progress of all bills under my sponsorship. We examined each bill’s current stage, identified the next steps, addressed possible delays, and finalised key priority bills ready for first reading.
Reviews like these are routine but essential, and it is through such deliberate efforts that impactful laws emerge. Representation demands seriousness, discipline, and a clear sense of the legacy one seeks to leave, requiring consistent effort, careful attention to detail, and a commitment to outcomes that stand the test of time.
I remain dedicated to sustaining a high standard of legislative performance and delivering results that position me among the most effective lawmakers in the House while bringing pride to Ekiti North 1 (Ikole/Oye) federal constituency.
