On Saturday in Odo-Oro-Ekiti, we commissioned the Principal’s Quarters at Odo-Oro High School, a strategic intervention undertaken in response to a pressing community need to provide suitable accommodation for the principal posted to the school. Having the principal reside on-site strengthens leadership, improves student supervision, and ensures continuous protection and maintenance of school property.
The commissioning was attended by His Royal Majesty, Oba Ojo Babatunde Adebayo Jemilehin Aladesodedero I, the Area Education Officer, Ikole LGA, Mrs. Falade, alongside community stakeholders, traditional chiefs, and residents—reflecting a shared commitment to education and community development.
This project complements the efforts of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to incentivise teaching staff to accept postings across all parts of the state, ensuring that no community is left behind. The Principal’s Quarters stand as a practical investment in effective school management, accountability, and sustainable educational growth in Odo-Oro.
