On Monday, I joined leaders, party faithful, and the good people of Ekiti at the Statewide Endorsement Programme for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT), Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), and H.E. Chief Mrs. Monisade Afuye (MCA).
This was more than a political gathering; it was a resounding statement of continuity, confidence, and collective aspiration. We reaffirmed our support: PBAT as President till 2031, BAO and MCA as Governor and Deputy till 2030.
Governor Oyebanji has been part of Ekiti’s development journey long before its creation as a state. His calm, inclusive leadership and deep institutional experience have enabled him to rally stakeholders across all sectors to advance the state’s progress. He governs with humility, consults widely, and delivers results quietly while driving measurable gains in infrastructure, social investment, and governance reforms.
Likewise, I support the growing call for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to seek a second term. From a privileged vantage point, I have witnessed his bold and pragmatic leadership firsthand. He has taken tough but necessary decisions to reset the economy, restore investor confidence, and reposition Nigeria globally.
President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda is not a political slogan. It is manifesting through strategic reforms in fiscal policy, social safety nets, institutional efficiency, and infrastructure delivery. His administration is restoring a sense of national purpose, renewing faith in public institutions, and laying the groundwork for inclusive growth.
These are not ordinary times and they require steady hands and seasoned leadership. What we are building in Ekiti mirrors the national trajectory. It is deliberate, developmental, and forward-looking. I am proud to stand in support of this vision.
Let us continue spreading the message of progress and continuity, town to town and ward to ward. This is more than an endorsement. It is a generational commitment to a greater Ekiti and a better Nigeria.
