The AkinỌmỌAkin Constituency Office, in collaboration with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ikole and Oye LGAs, is pleased to announce the guest ministers for the Second Easter Family Life Thanksgiving Service, which will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the D’Vand Event Centre, Ikole-Ekiti.

This year’s service, themed “Rebuilding Families, Renewing Nigeria – The Role of the Church,” will feature two distinguished guest ministers who will co-minister and share their profound insights on the importance of family in renewing Nigeria and the Church’s vital role in this transformation.

Pastor Sola Osunmakinde is an insightful Bible teacher, prolific author, and renowned televangelist. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Household of David, a vibrant and fast-growing church committed to raising a people after God’s heart across the nations. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Lagos State Chapter.

A passionate advocate for unity in the Body of Christ, Pastor Sola is the Convener of several impactful interdenominational gatherings, including the Mercy Conference, Higher Ground Conference, and the Abeokuta Believers’ Meeting, a city-wide evangelistic outreach aimed at winning souls for Christ.

Known for his humility, wisdom, and deep love for God’s people, Pastor Sola has become a bridge-builder among ministers and denominations. He is widely respected by fathers of faith and emerging leaders alike. His influence has been recognised with honours such as being named among AllBaze TV’s Top 50 Most Powerful and Influential Nigerian Pastors, and YNaija’s 100 Most Influential Nigerians in Church.

He is happily married to Pastor Abigail Osunmakinde, and together they are raising two wonderful children in the fear and love of the Lord.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Joseph Adedeji Adelola Fagbamila II, is the Olootunja of Ootunja-Ekiti, a town in the Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Nigeria. The 91-year old monarch is one of the oldest and longest-serving traditional rulers in Nigeria.

Oba Fagbamila II is renowned for his peaceful and developmental reign. Deeply loved by his people, he is known for his compassion, prayerfulness, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his community. Under his leadership, Ootunja has witnessed significant progress, and he has played a pivotal role in fostering unity among monarchs in the Egbe Oba land of Ekiti State.

In his personal life, Oba Fagbamila married Olori Comfort Morenike Adelola Fagbamila in 1969, and they were blessed with children. After her passing, he married Olori Grace Adepeju Adelola Fagbamila.

A devout Christian and ordained minister, Oba Fagbamila II blends his traditional responsibilities with a strong spiritual calling. He is widely respected among the fellowship of Christian Traditional Rulers in Nigeria, where he is regarded as a spiritual father and elder statesman. Known for his passionate preaching, intercessory prayers, and the gift of the word of knowledge, he frequently ministers at royal fellowships and Christian gatherings.

Together, Pastor Osunmakinde and Oba Joseph Fagbamila II will co-minister at the 2nd Easter Family Life Thanksgiving Service, bringing messages of faith, unity, and hope for the rebuilding of families and the renewal of Nigeria through the role of the Church.

Their combined leadership, deep spiritual insight, and commitment to societal transformation make this event a momentous occasion for all in attendance. The service is set to be a time of spiritual renewal, reflecting on the power of faith to rebuild our families, communities, and ultimately, our nation.

This annual Thanksgiving Service is part of the ongoing efforts by the AkinỌmỌAkin Constituency Office to emphasise the importance of strong family values in the social and spiritual renewal of Nigeria.
