On Monday, we successfully distributed an additional 60 laptops to students in Ekiti North 1, Ikole/Oye Federal Constituency, marking the second phase of our ongoing laptop distribution initiative. This follows the first phase, where we had previously distributed 50 laptops, bringing the total so far to 110.

Our approach has been deliberate and inclusive—ensuring that at least one student from each of the 40 communities across Ikole and Oye Local Government Areas benefits from this initiative. We worked closely with student representatives and other key stakeholders to determine the beneficiaries, prioritizing fairness and accessibility.

This initiative is more than just about handing out laptops; it is a strategic investment in the future of our constituency. By equipping our young people with digital tools, we are bridging the technology gap, expanding learning opportunities, and fostering a generation that can compete and contribute meaningfully in today’s digital world.

Encouraged by the overwhelmingly positive feedback, we are actively exploring ways to expand this program even further. Our commitment remains steadfast—not just to what we are doing, but how we are doing it: inclusively, transparently, and with a firm resolve to ensure that no one is left behind. We hope people are not just seeing the impact but also the process, as we continue working towards a more prosperous constituency.
