Last week Thursday, I had the privilege of attending the Skoll World Forum side-event titled “Accelerating Systems-Change: Lessons from Nigeria” in Oxford, England.

It was an insightful and inspiring session where I engaged in thought-provoking conversations around how funding models, policy interventions, and locally-led initiatives are driving systemic change in Nigeria. I was honoured to share the stage with an incredible lineup of speakers : Mary Wandia Wanjiru, Katie Bunten-Wamaru, Dr. Abiodun Adereni, and Omowumi Ogunrotimi, each of whom brought rich perspectives and practical lessons from their work in the development space.

Special appreciation to Gender Mobile Initiative, Help Mum and Marmalade for putting together such a meaningful event and for their continued work in promoting gender justice and inclusive governance.

It was a valuable opportunity to connect, learn, and reaffirm my commitment to advancing sustainable, community-driven change through effective representation and legislative action.
