Ikole-Ekiti | Friday, September 20, 2024 – Rep. Akin Rotimi Jr. has facilitated the sum of 1.5 Million Naira towards clearing and opening up the land at the newly established Federal Medical Centre, Ikole-Ekiti.
This vital step ensures that the management and all stakeholders can assess the full extent of the land, enabling proper planning for the upcoming upgrades to the tertiary health institution. The clearing commenced on Thursday, 19th of September, and will continue through the 20th of September 2024.
In addition to this, Rep. Rotimi continues his efforts to light up the facility and implement other strategic interventions. The shared goal is to ensure functionality, efficiency, and aesthetic appeal.
We continue to be guided by the Acting CMD, Prof. Johnson Dare Ogunlusi, who is leading collaborative efforts to ensure the facility gets off to a great start.
We are particularly pleased to learn that the Ag. CMD has gotten some well meaning Ikole LGA indigenes to carry out some intervention projects at the FMC Ikole-Ekiti, and we encourage more steps in this direction as the government cannot do it alone.
Rep. Rotimi remains committed to working with all stakeholders to ensure our shared heritage becomes a centre of excellence for tertiary healthcare services.
